Date: Wednesday, February 1st, 2017
Time: 6:30 PM

Survey Dates: August 2015

Help track bumble bee population around the Twin Cities!

Since 2007, the Minnesota Bumble Bee Survey has worked to document long-term trends in bumble bee populations and monitor declining species in the Twin Cities Area. Volunteers are needed to help capture bumble bees while they forage on flowers.  These bees are identified by experts, marked, and released. Here is our current schedule for August of  2015. Except where noted, there is no need to register. Just show up! Before you head out for the survey, please check in with us on Facebook for the latest updates as surveys can be cancelled due to poor weather. Rain dates will only take place I still need to count more bees at that site.
