MPRB Seeks Public Feedback on Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is hosting a public open house Tuesday Nov. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lynnhurst Recreation Center (1345 W Minnehaha Pkwy) to collect feedback about its 2012 Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Prevention Program and inspections conducted at Lakes Calhoun, Harriet and Nokomis.

Stop by during and share  your feedback.  If you are unable to attend but wish to share feedback, an online survey will be available November 13-27.

You can also learn more about what you can do to improve the quality of our local bodies of water at the Stormwater Management—Fall Forum on Saturday, November 17, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Lynnhurst Community Center.  This forum is sponsored by Lynnhurst Environmental Committee and the Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association.
